Indiana Hoosiers vs Northwestern Wildcats Prediction, Odds and Picks for Tomorrow, 10/05/24
Indiana vs Northwestern Pickswise Expert Predictions
The Hoosiers of Indiana are playing great football under head coach Curt Cignetti, who brought his high-octane offense from James Madison to Bloomington. And now, IU has entered the Top 25 with its tremendous play to start the season. Indiana rolled up a 42-28 win at The Rock last week as a 7.5-point favorite in the rain, it’s fourth consecutive cover. Indiana was the first team to reach 200 points in the FBS after four games, and it has scored 42 or more points in four consecutive games while cashing high on the total in four in a row for SGP bettors. The Hoosiers are 9th in the nation with 513.0 total yards per game, while racking up 302.4 passing yards per contest, and 210.6 rushing yards per game.
The Wildcats of Northwestern are coming off a bye, so they have had two weeks to study on how to slow this high-flying Hoosiers offense down. However, Northwestern has really struggled to score points, and that’s not a good sign against an Indiana team which lights up the scoreboard. The Wildcats are averaging just 9.3 PPG in three games against FBS opponents, and Northwestern is 0-3 ATS in the past three outings. The Wildcats have a decent defense, but it isn’t likely to slow the Hoosiers very much. And, should Indiana get out to a quick start, Northwestern doesn’t have the tools to come from behind.
Indiana -13.5 (-110) at time of publishing. Playable to -16.
