Florida State Seminoles vs Duke Blue Devils Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 10/18/24

The Seminoles of Florida State hit the road for Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham, N.C. for an ACC battle with the Blue Devils of Duke. Florida State has had a disastrous season, and obviously it is well documented. They lost in Ireland to Georgia Tech. They lost at home to Boston College and Memphis. They were blown out by SMU on the road, and QB D.J. Uiagalelei suffered a fractured finger which required surgery. Redshirt freshman QB Brock Glenn took over at Clemson, and he was OK, throwing for 228 yards and two touchdowns. The signal caller might be OK.

The Blue Devils of Duke have had a tremendous defensive effort this season, so it will be an uphill climb for Glenn and the offense. However, Florida State heads into this game never having lost to Duke in 20 meetings in the all-time series since 1992, so that kind of lopsided history has to count for something. If ever there was a time for the Blue Devils to pick off the ‘Noles, it is this season. The last time FSU visited Duke was the closest game in the series, a 17-10 win on Oct. 14, 2017. Take the points with FSU, although know that you’re taking a big chance siding with the historical trends over the season trends.
