The Clemson Tigers have picked up the pace on offense since getting their doors blown off 34-3 in the opener against Georgia at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Since that ugly outing, Clemson piled up 66 points against Appalachian State, 59 points against NC State in the conference opener and 40 points in another conference tilt with Stanford in Death Valley last weekend. Not only has Clemson flexed its offensive muscle, but it is also 3-0 ATS in those games — winning by at least 24 points in each of the 3 outings. It will head down to Florida’s capital city looking for revenge after falling 31-24 in overtime Sept. 23, 2023 at home, halting a 7-game winning streak in the series.

The Florida State Seminoles have not had anything close to the season it envisioned. They paid a heavy price to bring former Clemson QB D.J. Uiagalelei from Oregon State via the transfer portal, and they paid the defensive line handsomely. It has bore little fruit, as FSU has just one win in 5 games and was trounced last week at SMU 42-16. The ‘Noles are 1-3 inside the conference, with a lone 14-9 win over California on Sept. 21 to their credit. To make matters worse, Uiagalelei is expected to miss a couple of games due to a finger injury so redshirt freshman QB Brock Glenn is expected to step in under center. Facing Clemson in his first potential collegiate start is likely not going to end well.
