Do you have to pay sports betting taxes on winnings in Nevada?

Nevada taxes gambling winnings like all other legal sports betting states. There is a flat 6.75% state tax and a federal tax rate of 24% for any winnings over $5,000.

You only have to pay the federal tax if your winnings are at least three times what you have wagered. For instance, if you bet $5,000 and win $5,000, you only need to pay state tax.
